Musical Portrait
 

This painting illustrates a young mother listening to a song being played on the piano for her and the unborn child.  It encourages her to love and care for the unborn child for someday, this child will shine and flourish like the healthy plant in the foreground.

A ray of sunlight shines behind the plant's leaf.  This light symbolizes God who provides us with guidance during our moments of darkness, a time when we feel lonely or helpless.

The plants in the background portray human life.  By opening our hearts to God (the "Light"), we will gain a sense of fulfillment and start to view life with all its beauty (plants turning green and healthy). Those who hide away from the "Light" may never find true happiness in life (plants turning brown and lifeless).

I am hopeful that the song will inspire others to love and take care of their own child or children for they are truly God's blessings.
